  • We give back to your school with EVERY PURCHASE. When you buy photos, your school benefits!

  • You’ll receive a package to preview before making any purchase. We hope you love the unique spring designs!

  • There’s no pressure to buy! If you choose not to purchase, simply return the photos to the school. If you decide to keep them, we provide easy payment options.

  • These photos are NOT FREE. Please return any unwanted photos. Honesty is always appreciated!

  • All 5th Grade students will be photographed in “cap & gown” for promotion photos that will be used on their promotion certificates.  Photos can be purchased after photo proofs are sent to parents.

District Announcement About Feb 26/Mar 9

The San Diego Educator Association (SDEA) members have announced a one-day school strike for February 26, 2026.  The school district will honor the SDEA strike and close schools on February 26, 2026. The make-up date for classes will be on March 9th to ensure students receive the instructional time and services to support their success. The district has created this website with more information and FAQs.

Clothing Donations Needed for Health Office

Hancock’s Health Office often provides a change of clothes to our students who have accidents or spills. We are running quite low on clothing to loan to students. If you happen to have some children’s clothing you could donate, we especially need pants/leggings/shorts with elastic waist, underpants, and shoes.  Small sizes for our younger students are especially appreciated. Please bring them directly to the Health Office. We appreciate your support!

President’s Day Dash Fun Run - Feb 12
It is time for the President's Day Dash Fun Run! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. All of the funds go to the PTF to be spent at our school on our students. We picked something simple for you to do. You do not have to sell anything or deliver anything! You just register your child, set up a web page, share it with family and friends and the donations start rolling in! And the kids earn prizes as they earn money!  All students will be invited to participate in the Fun Run on Thursday Feb. 12 during the school day. Fundraising is not required to participate. See the attached flyer for steps to Join the President's Day Dash!  Email Mrs. Cimins at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Need to Report an Absence? 🤒

Communication with our Attendance Clerk, Ms Shauna, is important if your student is absent for any reason. Per San Diego Unified policy, if you do not report the reason for the absence to the office within 5 school days, even if it was for an excused reason (illness, medical or dental appointments, funeral services, military ceremonies, etc) it will automatically be changed to an unexcused absence. Please be sure to report the reason for the absence every time. You can do this 24/7 either online or by phone @ 619-605-3200 Option 1.
