Happy Spring Break

During the week of March 31 - April 4th, all San Diego Unified schools are closed for Spring Break. Enjoy the time with your family and friends. We will welcome students back to campus on Monday April 7th with a special Donut Day!

Spring at Hancock

The stretch between Spring Break and the end of school is a very busy one for our students and staff. Many field trips are scheduled, assemblies and special events are planned. New after school program sessions begin and upper grade students will begin mandatory testing soon. Please be sure you are watching your email, Class Dojo messages, text messages, checking your student’s backpack regularly and visiting our school website to stay up to date on what is happening at Hancock. If you need to update the email or phone number on your student’s record, please update through the PowerSchool Parent Portal or come into the office to update us.

Yearbooks Order Deadline This Week! 📚💸

This is the final week to pre-order a Hancock Yearbook!  The deadline is Friday, April 4th. Our yearbook will be filled with treasured memories of your student’s time here at Hancock. The cost is $20 per book. Final days to order online!  Hancock Yearbook Portal Note: Yearbooks will not arrive until late April. If your student will be moving before the books arrive, you can still order! We will forward them on to your student, wherever you relocate.  Be sure to give the office your forwarding address.

🍩 Donut Miss School! 🍩

Sprinkle in "on time" and join us in the quad on the first day back (April 7th) —students who arrive on time will get a free donut to kick off the day. Let us glaze your day with a sweet breakfast treat and start the new season strong!

Give Back Friday Apr 11: Purple Up Day Prep 🎉

Join us on Friday, April 11th, from 8 AM to 2 PM to help us prepare for Purple Up Day by assembling 700 goodie bags!  In addition, you can also support our teachers and any work they might need assistance with. Let’s make it a special day for our military kids and teachers! Flyer
