California School Parent Survey

As part of the California Healthy Kids Survey the California Department of Education partners with West Ed to survey parents each year (with the exception of last school year due to school closures).  The survey is anonymous and each school site is required to send out the survey via a unique link. We ask that you respond by May 28th to Hancock’s parent survey via the link provided here: https://wested.ugam-apps.com/wed/ts/Ncya

5th grade students will complete the California Health Kids Survey with their classroom and our counselor Mrs. MacMaster before May 28th.

Getting Ready for 2021-2022 School Year

Survey for Current Students

What are your plans for next school year? We need your help as we begin to make plans for next year. Please answer a few questions in this survey to let us know if you are continuing next school year or if you have plans (even if they are not definite) to move.  Start the survey for your oldest student at Hancock and add siblings if you have them Survey Link: https://forms.gle/SvbRR4qamcFkYdcMA

Please complete the survey by May 7th.

Registration for 2021-2022 School Year

Students that are currently enrolled and will continue in the fall do not need to re-register. Unless you tell us you are moving to a different school, students will automatically be re-enrolled and assigned a teacher. New incoming students for TK or Kindergarten will be able to “pre-register” between May 18 - May 27.  Watch our website and upcoming newsletters for more information.

Parking Lot Safety

Thank you to all our parents who have safely used the drop off and pick up in our Hancock Parking lot.  Please remember the following:

  1. There is no left turn in or out of the parking lot during drop off or pick up
  2. Please remain in your vehicle until your child arrives.  Staff will assist in ensuring your child arrives safely to your vehicle
  3. Please look behind your vehicle as you leave for cars that may be attempting to exit - some of us have less or more students or car seats to deal with

Our Safety Patrol is gearing up for their debut very soon.  Please remember to be patient with them as it is a first time in over a year and all of the students are new.
