New Student Enrollment

Hancock Elementary School Enrollment Information

For general information about enrollment in San Diego Unified Schools, you can visit https://www.sandiegounified.org/neighborhood-schools-and-enrollment-options

The following documents will always be required for enrollment. 

  • Immunization records

  • Verification of residency (lease agreement, utility bill, etc)

  • Birth certificate (we need to see the original)

  • Special Education Service documents i.e.. IEP (if applicable)

TK (Transitional Kinder): Enrollment for TK for the 2025-2026 School Year begins online. Please start with submitting your student enrollment here. The district will review your application and notify you of your student's confirmed enrollment.  After this confirmation, contact Hancock's Enrollment Clerk for next steps. 

Grades K - 5: Enrollment for grades K-5 for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 School Year begins online. Please start with submitting your student enrollment information here.  After the data is submitted, please visit Hancock's front office to complete enrollment. Required documents are listed above.

UTK for Current School Year (24-25): At this time, we do not have any open seats for Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK). If you would like to find out other options for UTK this year, complete this form. Someone from SDUSD enrollment will follow up with you.
